A. CAMPUS LEVEL APPROVAL
Each campus will develop capital project approval procedures, taking into account the unique structure and mission of the campus. Institutional advisory committees may be developed, as appropriate, with the composition, duties, and appointment of members made at the discretion of the Chancellor, or his/her designee.
B. BOARD OF TRUSTEES APPROVAL
Capital Construction Projects greater than one million dollars ($1,000,000) require the approval of the Board of Trustees. Construction of new facilities and any renovation/remodeling or other improvement projects, which require the services of an architect or engineer, shall follow the procedures set forth in Board Policy 730.1 – (Appendix 1) and 730.2 – (Appendix 2). Campus officials must submit a Capital Project Proposal Form (Appendix 3) and submit it to the President for review and recommendations. Refer to Capital Construction Checklist for Board of Trustee’s Approval (Appendix 4) to insure proper documentation.
